For pet owners, using our platform is free. For pet sitters, we charge a 12% platform fee on completed services. There are no monthly fees or upfront costs.

Yes, all pet sitters must pass a comprehensive background check through Checkr before they can accept bookings. This includes criminal history, identity verification, and ongoing monitoring.

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. Pet owners pay when booking a service, and funds are held in escrow until the service is completed. Sitters receive payment automatically after service confirmation.

For veterinary emergencies, contact the nearest emergency vet immediately and notify the pet owner. For platform-related issues, reach out to our support team. We recommend all users have emergency contact information readily available.

Cancellation policies vary by service and timing. Generally, cancellations made 24+ hours in advance receive full refunds. Last-minute cancellations may incur fees. Check the specific cancellation policy when booking.
